Twelve hectares in Valle de La Orotava
S uertes del Marqués vineyards are located in Valle de La Orotava, in the north of Tenerife island.
The property contains 12 vineyards hectares located from 350 to 750 meters above sea level with several orientations and soil compositions. Also Suertes del Marqués works with 15 hectares from growers from the area with vineyards located from 350 to 800 meters of elevation.
C entenary ungrafted vines of Listán Negro & Blanco predominate in most of our vineyards.
Cultivated under the traditional training system of cordón trenzado, unique training system in the world, Listán coexists with other young and old vines indigenous varieties as Vijariego Negro, Baboso Negro, Castellana Negra, Malvasía Rosada or Torrontés Volcánico, farmed in Cordon Royat, Bush or Cordon Trenzado.
